As a wedding photographer entity, I think there only a few things that make you feel on top of the world as much as a couple telling you “you’re hired” before they ever even get to meet you in person or have a “proper phone consult”. Pam & Jason did just that! (When we sent them their engagement edits, she also replied with an email that said “ahhhhhhhhhgggghhhhgghghghghhhhghhhhhh”… that’s pretty well up there too… if we can move you to not forming coherent words, I file that under win!)
While they now live in NYC, Jason actually grew up in Marshville, NC on the farmland that’s been in his family for over a 100 years. When they asked if we’d be willing to do the pictures there, our very speedy reply was “of course!” and we did not choose wrong! We got to spend a solid two hours of running around, joking, making pretty pictures, and getting to know each other one beautiful October afternoon… and Jason even made sure to bring in one pretty pimpin prop to the shoot (you’ll see below… I’m not really even a car person and even I had to throw out a “niiiiiice!”).
I can say with all sincerity that we are beyond excited to see how emotive and moving their wedding is going to be. It blows my mind that doing something that we love anyway leads us to adding such heartfelt and amazing people to our lives. Well – what are you still reading my mushy ramblings for? Go get you some beautiful, fall eye-candy with these two lovebirds!
