For anyone that isn’t aware, our home away from home here in Charlotte, NC is way up in Minneapolis, MN! We love and embrace the cold… we love the parks, lakes, people, attitudes, creative buzz, pretty much everything about it! Over the years, we’ve weirdly had all these unrelated connections that keep popping up in MPLS and it’s just became a happy place for us. So fast forward to last week when we were up there working on some Alchemy in Imagery projects (our high-art driven, sister company) and some food research… we decided to open up a couple LZP slots. We were ELATED when long-time friend Allie Causin (dancer, mermaid, awesome friend, you know – the good credentials) asked us to do pictures of her, her bro Matt, and her ridiculously cute nephew Harlow! We’ve seen him on Allie’s FB feed for years now and kinda knew we’d enjoy the heck outta working with him… but to finally have it on the books – celebratory dance ensued! On a unseasonably warm (by MPLS standards for Feb anyways) Saturday – sitting right at about 40 degrees – we all went out in the snow and commenced playtime! It was an awesome start to our trip and set the tone for all the remaining expectations (which I am happy to report were well met). You’ll be seeing more from our trip later, but for now – enjoy what we did on our first full day in Minneapolis this February!
