Let’s start this blog post by saying that the sweet Kelly is actually NOT our bride. Yep, read that right. So why are we taking her bridal portraits? Answer: We actually (for the moment being) live 10 minutes away from the popular wedding venue, The Arbors. Kelly was getting married there, and had her bridal portrait session scheduled. As bad luck/Murphy’s Law would have it, the photographer was not able to make it. (We’ve talked to the photographer, and it really was a case of horrible luck.) However, Kelly was already in hair and makeup by the FABULOUS Kymm Mclean of Who’s The Fairest. Kymm, had a tidbit of information stored in the back of her head, that we lived near by the event space. She gave us a call, and as luck would have it, we were home with nothing to do that day.
Here’s the thing. We DID have something to do earlier that day. We were scheduled to be in Charlotte for a 1pm meeting, but we ended up getting a flat tire. We rescheduled the meeting, (the other party could only meet at a certain time) apologized profusely, and went back home to get the tire fixed. As we were editing on our computers, we got a call from Kymm, asking if we were able to do Kelly’s bridal portraits. We were dressed and ready to go from earlier in the day, so we grabbed our camera bags, and were able to get to The Arbors within 20 minutes of Kymm’s call. We got there, and took off! Kelly was sweet and totally adorable to work with. This is the result of our flash-photo session! Once again, a big thanks to Kymm for thinking of us, and always, always putting her clients first!!!
