*Fun, Feathers, and Fancy* The Pillow Fight of the Year

This has to be one of our favorite sessions from 2010. Since the blog is brand-spanking new, we still need to put some Family/Kids stuff up, and we thought, “Hey- we should kick off our Family blog with the epic-pillow fight.” So we are, and here it is.

This was taken late October, and it was actually meant for Christmas cards. The Ensalaco family is made up of 7. Mom, Dad, big sister, triplets, and little sister. These children are some of the most beautiful, and well behaved kids we have ever met. The siblings are sweet, polite and they take care of each other.

Okay, so this was taken in the back yard. The mattress company Sweet Dreams sponsored a bed to do the photo shoot in. As a big thank you, and of course permission to use photos, the kids started off with a huge pillow with Sweet Dreams on it.

And then the fun began:

Little Sister got it a little too hard. 🙁

But Dad to the rescue!

It was such a blast, even the neighbors got in on the fun!

…And the puppies got in on the fun!

So wow. We have enough trouble weeding down photo shoots when there is one person; imagine my troubles with 5 gorgeous children in a pillow fight! This shoot was such a blast, and I hope as a photographer, that it inspires more creative family shoots. We just thank our lucky stars that this family had us to photograph this awesome event, because it was…epic. And yes, there was a massive clean-up that I’m sure Mom and Dad would rather not talk about. 😉
